Beverage & Service Team Members and Shift Lead / 2IC Opportunities Available

Austinvilla Estate is expanding our events team and we’re looking for Beverage & Service Team Members, including an experienced 2IC / Shift Lead, to join us for the upcoming season.

Located in a beautiful hinterland setting just 15 minutes from Robina and 22 minutes from Palm Beach, Austinvilla Estate hosts weddings, celebrations and private events throughout the year. Our team is known for delivering warm, relaxed and professional service in a stunning natural environment.

We are currently growing our team and are open to candidates looking for regular event work or supplementary hours alongside other employment.

Event Schedule

• Events average 2 per week, increasing up to 4–5 during peak periods

• Most events take place Friday and Saturday evenings

• Wedding and event shifts are typically up to 8 hours

The Role

This role is primarily focused on bar and beverage service, with occasional food service support during events. You will be part of the front-of-house team responsible for delivering a warm and professional guest experience during weddings and private events.

For experienced candidates, there is the opportunity to step into a 2IC / Shift Lead role, helping oversee service during events and assisting with closing the venue at the end of the night.

Key Responsibilities

• Beverage service including beer, wine and simple cocktails

• Providing friendly and professional service to guests

• Supporting food service when required

• Assisting with event setup and pack down

• Maintaining clean and organised bar and service areas

• Working closely with the events team to ensure smooth event flow

• For senior team members: supporting service leadership and venue close-down

About You

You may be someone who:

• Has hospitality or bar experience (events or weddings highly regarded)

• Is confident interacting with guests and delivering great customer service

• Remains calm, organised and professional during busy service periods

• Works well as part of a team while also taking ownership of your role during service

• Has strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude

• Is interested in taking on leadership responsibilities during events (for 2IC applicants)

Requirements

• Current RSA

• Reliable transport (our venue is located in the hinterland)

• Availability for evening and weekend event shifts
